Secure Payments

We take your security very seriously, and have in place both online and offline security procedures in order to protect our customers.

Online Security

As soon as you access the 'checkout' page and before you enter any payment details, you will be routed to a SagePay page, if selecting this payment method. SagePay is a dedicated payment processing company.

SagePay has achieved the highest level of compliance under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI). They adhere to the most stringent levels of fraud screening, ensuring that your details remain secure throughout the transaction process.

Your details are encrypted to help keep them secure. Encryption creates billions of code combinations to protect each transaction made on our site, so your card details cannot be viewed by anyone else using the Internet.

SagePay payments are made through 3D Secure. 3D Secure authentication is an additional fraud prevention scheme that is available to all companies using the SagePay systems to process transactions.

It allows shoppers to create and assign a password to their card that is then verified whenever a transaction is processed through a site that supports the use of the scheme. The addition of password protection allows extra security on transactions that are processed online.

During payment, we also ask for your card billing address as an additional security check. New security checks like the card signature code have recently been introduced to protect your credit card details online.

No credit or debit card details are stored once your order has been processed.

We recommend that you always close down your Internet browser when you have finished shopping online, especially if you use a shared PC. This will delete temporary Internet cookies from any sites that you may have visited.

Offline Security

A common fear amongst people who are considering shopping online is how their information is protected once they submitted their details. Firstly, we only store your credit card details while we process your order and as soon as we have taken payment your card number is removed from our system. Of course, we need to retain other details such as your name and address in order to fulfil your order and to be able to respond to customer service enquiries.

To ensure the safety of your data our systems are protected by a state-of the-art firewall system. Finally, access to confidential information is carefully monitored so that our own staff only have access to the information they need in a secure, password protected system.
