mAb specific to the yeast-like fungus Geotrichum candidum, a component of the human microbiome present on the skin and in sputum and faeces. It causes local or disseminated pulmonary, bronchial, oral, vaginal, gastro-intestinal, and cutaneous infections known as geotrichosis, mainly in immunocompromised individuals.
